The owners were friendly. The car was parked safely off the road. We ate our breakfast outside under a sun shade. There was a very good restaurant around the corner and Chaumont was only a short drive away.

Lovely self contained room and bathroom. Able to securely store our bicycles overnight. Hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming, offering to dry our wet clothes and shoes as we had been caught in a thunderstorm. Breakfast was excellent, including many homemade items.
LE CLOS DU GOLF is ideally located 7 km from EXIT 18 on Highway A10 and within 1 hour of all famous chateaux of the Loire Valley with Amboise only 15 km.

location is lovely, in the middle of a quite green village (Mesland), close to everything (by car).
hosts were super organized and freindly -- they have a booklet (in english as well) with all the info you need: sights, resturants, supermarkets and essential data and phone numbers.
breakfast was rich and tasty, and always with a smile :)
