It's not often that I place a review, but the hospitality at Chateau Igny was simply amazing. Very nice welcome with drinks and dinner. Breakfast was a 5 star experience. Our kids also loved the pool (and the 2 dunkeys as well as Harper - the dog). Thank you again.

The chateau is a vision with really beautiful surroundings. We found ourselves being taken in by the nature and really unwinding and relaxing. We were checked in by the very helpful and friendly Amanda, who portrayed all the characteristics of someone professional in hospitality. Amanda showed us to our rooms and was very clear with the hotel instructions and provided us with very good information. The restaurant was a beautiful addition also and I have to commend the chef, who took her time listening to our dietary requirements, along with preparing a beautiful meal for us. The staff at the restaurant were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was nice, fresh and delivered with a smile each morning. The rooms were very clean and room service was provided to us on the each day of our stay.

Good breakfast, plenty of choice. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. After a day in the nearby medieval village of Hérissons in 35C heat, the swimming-pool was welcome! At the end of the second evening our hosts joined us (with another guest) for a 'repas simple'. The whole experience was charming, so it's 'à la retour'.
Authentic and in a very picturesque village - easy to get to from the main road and stop off for an overnight stay. We had a dog, which was no problem and good sized car park at the rear.
