The swimming pool looked excellent and I would have swam if the weather had been better.

Christine was a fantastic hostess. Having arrived late at night with little notice we were made to feel very welcome. First class breakfast. Room was perfect. Nothing was to much trouble. We are planning to stay again next time we travel to the area. Highly recommend.

This was a fabulous hotel and I would happily stay again. Wonderful setting on the Charente and In the village. Dog friendly .Beautiful, well kept gardens with places to sit and lounge and watch the goings on along the river. Lovely airy big room. Good choice of food at dinner and excellent value for money. Ample range of items for breakfast. The staff appear to work very hard

Fabulous location. Our bedroom overlooked the beautiful gardens rolling down to the lovely river Charente. In the heart of a large village with excellent traders. And a choice of terrific waymarked walks through gorgeous countryside. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely superb, and exceptional value. And the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
