The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The property is well kept and you fee like you have the entire place to yourself. Raoul and his wife are incredible. Not only did he provide a wonderful place to stay, but he his insight into the area, what to do, and knowledge of wine were invaluable. He even went out of his way to take us to a friend’s vineyard on a Sunday when everything else was closed to show us the wine he was making, did a tasting, and showed us around the area. Grand medieval chateau in its own park. Huge room with large bed and high ceiling, indeed a suite that could have slept six. Shower and toilet new and very efficient. Pleasant breakfast on the terrace. The owner was helpful, booking restaurants or providing plates, glasses etc so that we could picnic in the grounds. An absolute delightful mixture of the grand and the attractive ramshackle.
