An idyllic setting that takes your breath away on approach. The room was cool, clean and spacious. The watermill, gardens and the large swimming pool were added bonuses. Breakfast was lovely sitting by the watermill, with fresh home made bread, jams and croissants.

Le Petit Moulin is in a lovely peaceful location. It was great to be able to take the dog for walks off the lead on the country lanes. It's close to a beautiful lake. The gardens of the gite were lovely to be able to have a drink in the evenings and enjoy the sunshine. Would highly recommend! Simon and Sara could not have been more friendly and helpful.

This is a hidden gem well worth the short detour from the freeways. From the first minute, we loved it. We were looked after like old friends from the wonderful hosts. Our old stone cottage was charming and cool in the summer heat. Even the sofa bed was really comfortable. A refreshing swim in the pool when we arrived, warm and tired, was great! We were served a delicious 3-course dinner on our porch, with lots of homegrown vegetables and the breakfast had everything you could ask for. We’re coming back!!!

The space, location and facilities in the property were excellent. We are a family of six and we had plenty of room for everyone. The owner has decorated the house with great care, the interior design is typically French with good quality fixtures and fittings. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The bedroom are an excellent size all with either on suite or a bathroom close by. The house has two upstairs wings accesses via different stairs at either end of the building, so our daughter and her partner were able to take one side of the property giving them privacy and their own space. The gardens were also lovely, a great selection of lawn games and bikes which myself and daughter really enjoyed.

Butterfly Cottage is a great property in a great location. It's host Charlotte is a lovely lady who cannot do enough for you and she and the cottage provided us with one of the best holidays we have had. If you get the opportunity to sample her cooking in the restaurant take it, the food is absolutely amazing and has to be tasted to be believed. Without a doubt if you get the opportunity to stay at this property take it, you will not regret it.
