Located in a very peaceful setting. The Manoir was a beautiful house with lovely surroundings. Thomas was an exceptional host who spoke very good English. He provided a wonderful evening meal with no forward request and was most helpful with planning the route for our onward journey. Would definitely stay there again.

We were just passing through. This was an apartment in a converted manor house. There was loads of space, cooking facilities, fridge etc. You could eat in or out as it had a nice garden. The manager was really helpful and very pleasant. It made a nice change from a hotel room. Bolbec is just a small town. It does have a supermarket but not much more.

Romania
I do not recommend this accommodation. When my colleagues got there, it was not clean, it had lots of mold on the floor, the bathroom was dirty, it smelled like chlorine and there was lots of animal hair (this might not be so bad, because maybe the owner was not aware that the previous guests had animals in the apartment). I texted the owner about all these issues, and she re-sent the cleaning lady. I think this could have been avoided, if the cleaning person did their job properly. My colleagues decided not to stay at that house, even if the cleaning person cleaned again, and I tried to find a way that would suit the owner. I tried asking her to refund us for half of our stay, even if nobody stayed in the apartment, because I know it can be hard to find new guests in a short period of time. But she was not open to this. The pictures that I attached are taken right when my colleagues arrived. So, I do not reccommend :)
