The breakfast was delicious, lovely selection of breads and jams, and cheeses. Also cereals and fruit. Could not fault. Location a little out of the way - nog walkable to a restaurant. Owner very kindly made us a restaurant reservation at a place on the other side of La Ferte- Bernard in Cherre which was very good.

The Barn conversion is absolutely beautiful, it's so chic and typically French. There's absolutely everything available that you may ever need. The decor is charming with beautiful antique furniture. The gardens and grounds are immaculate. The room was so clean it was as if we were the first to stay there. Breakfast was beautiful and very filling. The hosts could not have been more helpful, they were great and we shared a drink in the late afternoon sun but only when I insisted on drinking it together. They were not intrusive at all. The pool was very welcome and well kept and a lovely temperature. This guesthouse was the perfect French country house retreat. I highly recommend it.
