Everything! It's like going home to family. Elisabeth is such a nice person, with so many beautiful stories to tell. She is such a wonderful person. The place is clean and full of memories . And the detail of the decorations. We had the blue room.. where almost everything is blue: the deco, the bedsheets, the bathroom and the cups and the spoons 😍😍😍. We had an awesome stay at La Maison Des Vacances! It was located in the heart of Alsace along the route des vins, just half an hour drive from Colmar and 40mins drive from Strasbourg. We reached a little later than expected but the hosts (Simone & Bernard) were waiting for us. Once we entered the house, we were welcomed by the traditionally, intricately decorated & fully equipped home with super comfy bedrooms, living & dining areas. Every corner of the house was exceptionally beautiful. We had requested for the dinner & breakfast. Both meals were scrumptious yet super delicious and homely. Thanks Simone & Bernard! We will surely come visit you again!

Stunning location, quiet, well equipped and Cosy, Cosy, Cosy !!! We stayed 8 nights in a perfect romantic nest. It’s also perfect for couples just seeking a quiet or hiking or even winter trips. Surrounded by stunning nature and peaceful gardens. Sounds of cow bells and the water of a nearby stream add to the charm, local villages provide ample shopping, cafes and restaurants too.!! All was just perfect!! Highly recommended !!!
Has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Very comfortable and easy access to many hiking trails. Also not far from Colmar, Obernai and other pretty villages on the Alsace wine trail. Please be on time to meet Jean-Marc for the keys etc as he has to travel from Strasbourg ( sorry Jean-Marc - I didn't realise.. :( )
everything clean and check in very easy and fast. the village is cute and might be a nice place for some winter vacations. overall a fat price quality relation but maybe next time we could try other place.
