The cottage has been beautifully renovated and decorated, and was spacious and comfortable for us as a couple. We felt immediately at home! We enjoyed the calm, silence and nature around and our private terrace. The cottage also has a fireplace which must be very cosy in colder weather. The host family was welcoming, helpful and discrete. Le-Grand-Pressigny is a lovely typical French village just 10 min away with essential shops as well as a few bars and restaurants. This part of the Loire region is calm and less crowded, but we much enjoyed what it has to offer both in nature (swimming, kayak, walking, cycling) and culture ("villages fleuries", cities and castles).
