The room was amazing, beautifully decorated with quirky ornaments. The bedding and towels were very luxurious. The owner was lovely, she reserved a table for us in a local restaurant, provided a very good breakfast with many home made items. She was a delightful person, very friendly. She also talked through all the local attractions and marked them on a map for us.

This was just what we needed! It was a wonderful stay while traveling around France in October. All the rooms were fully equipped, it was easy to prepare a hot meal. We were happy about the washing machine, after all the camping we had done. It was warm and cozy. And a perfect starting point to see a Guedelon castle.

Beautiful location in a small and charming village in the Burgundy area. Jean Luc provided us a very warm welcome and help for a restaurant reservation. We (and our dog) had an immediate homely feeling. The breakfast next morning in the beautiful garden was a real treat. The apartment is tastefully decorated, cozy and spacious.

Michel was wonderful to interact with, and very accommodating. He was ideal in this respect. And his home is really unusual and special--full of character, and even mystery in how one approaches the front door (my children loved this). If you want something standardized and hotel-like, stay away; but if you want something memorable, that clearly is someone's home, and that is very well equipped (esp. with having 2 bathrooms), you'll be very happy you booked Michel's home. And the location is perfect for visiting the Guedelon castle reconstruction.
