I loved everything about this property. Peacefully tucked away in the hills of La Garde-Freinet, you’re immediately met with the smell of the fresh garden, and lovely sounds of happy birds. The room was clean and fresh and you have temperature control inside of your suite. Big open bathrooms with great water pressure in the showers. The pool is so beautiful and taken good care of. Lovely communal sitting area to enjoy breakfast or just to enjoy the day. They made us a quaint, delicious breakfast every morning that brought a smile to my face every time. The fresh lemons from the trees on the property in your water is a must!! We met a lovely couple who were also staying at Pontillaou, that told us stories about where they’re from and gave some good bits of travel advice. We fell in love with our sweet hosts who were so attentive and kind and very respectful in every way you could imagine. We had great chats with them and I genuinely cannot wait to cross paths with them again. So much love for this beautiful place and people!!

We loved the location, just a 2 minute walk from the Main Street. There was lots of space for our family to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed having laundry. The patio was lovely. We used the wood stove on cold evenings making it cosy. A reserved parking space was super nice.

this lovely family run hotel is one of our best discoveries in the South of France. Everything is made with love, attentive, kind and friendly owners, very tasty breakfasts and dinners. The hosts were lovely and so friendly and made us feel right at home. We traveled around France for 8 days and this was by far our favourite stay. It has everything you need and more, was super clean, comfortable. It had such a homely and cute feel to it. In the morning breakfast was brought to us to enjoy outside on our patio. It’s amazing value for money. We absolutely loved it here and hope to be back soon.

Words cannot describe how great this place is! Jane and Alban are amazing hosts - we spent 2 night at the villa this summer (2021) towards the end of our trip in the french riviera. My partner and I wanted to avoid the peak of August crowds of central Saint Tropez so we found this gem in the surrounding area just 15-20 kms away. There are some beautiful smaller towns nearby that are worth visiting with spectacular views of st tropez - Alban will provide you all the recommendations. The villa itself is a very relaxing experience with an awesome pool and green scenery all around. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and we felt like at home. We are for ever grateful to Jane and Alban who took such good care of us during our stay!

The villa and location are outstanding and everything you need for a fantastic holiday. The villa is situated in the mountains and the setting is so tranquil and relaxing with stunning views. Our children (pre-teen and teenager) thoroughly enjoyed the pool and we spent lovely evenings together on the gorgeous terrace. The villa itself is so stylish and beautifully finished and equipped with everything you could possibly need for the duration of your stay. We had a lovely warm welcome from Morgaine on arrival and she and Ewoud were so friendly and helpful to ensure we had everything we needed for our holiday. They are wonderful hosts! The area itself is a great spot being a short drive from La Garde Freinet, Grimaud and beaches. We certainly hope to return for another holiday!
