A beautiful building right in the heart of a very beautiful town (plenty of restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood). The hotel has been lovingly renovated and decorated and the room itself showed an impressive attention to detail - including a kettle to make coffee/tea and a mini-bar. We received the code to enter the hotel in very good time and little touches (a welcome on the door, for example) allowed to feel the owners' 'presence' despite just having to follow instructions. If we get the opportunity to return, we will definitely choose this hotel again: it has been a pleasure and rounded off our stay.

Fabian was extremely helpful and obliging. He prepared a lovely breakfast - including a bottle of local wine to take away. The bunker was our favourite location after 14 nights staying in different places in Germany, Holland and Belgium. The bed was big and very comfortable.

The hosts gave us a real good, warm welcome, and provided much better than expected accommodation. The kitchen was very, very well equipped, and there were special touches provided by the hosts, who responded to all requests with a smile and assistance. The accommodation was one of the quietest we have ever stayed in, despite it being on the main street, in a charming and typically Alsace village. We were offered advice in walks and visits which really added to our enjoyment.
