We stayed in the apartment which is at the top of a spiral staircase, the twin room is sectioned off with a curtain only, nice large terrace for sunbathing, star gazing and eating al fresco. Aircon decent, room has quite a few low beams on the ceilings. Hosts were great, very friendly, helpful and had good local recommendations. River swimming right on the doorstep along with a great shop right downstairs for fresh bread and croissants each morning.

A beautiful house in a lovely quiet town!
Really comfortable bed and clean spacious bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious!

The property is a lovely place to stay in the village of Ginestas. We were there to attend a wedding at the local chateau and it was ideal. As well as that, it was a really good location for venturing into Narbonne and Carcassonne. Margaret was the ideal host and she was extremely welcoming each morning while we had breakfast. The drinks available in the roof terrace were very fairly priced and the sun terrace is an ideal place to sit peacefully under the French sun. We would highly recommend L’Orchidée.
Fabienne was massively attentive, first surprising us by revealing we had the run of the entire first floor of the house! She put on beautiful breakfasts, with pastries plus lovely home-made jams and madeleine cakes. Best of all, she went out of her way to drive us to the nearby Le Somail one morning while also directing us on a relaxing walk back to Ginestas along the Canal du Midi. A wonderful stay in a very pretty little village!

it was very clean, and spacious. the hosts were available to help but were not intrusive. the gardens were attractive and large. it is situated in the village near to the shop and bakery
The owners couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was a continental but loads of it and we had the kitchen and facilities to ourselves which meant you had what you liked and as much as you liked. The gardens were beautiful with fruit trees and grape vines included in the lovely shrubs and it was in the heart of the village.
Charming bnb in a small quaint town. Very clean, nicely decorated rooms. Easy to find. Village can be visited by foot. Lovely gardens. Very quiet. Good breakfast.
The owner Margaret was brilliant. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. We were attending at Chateaux du Pruits es Pratx which was a few minutes walk away. An ideal place to stay with traditional French style in the centre of the small village.
