The location was perfect for what we needed, the breakfast was plentiful and really tasty. The rooms were clean, spacious and the owners were very welcoming. The gardens were brilliant for the children to play in.

Virginie and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. Our gite was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed being able to use the swimming pool too.
It was handy to shop and get petrol at the supermarket in Gemozes which also had a good bakery and the Lion D'Or hotel where we enjoyed an excellent Formule Midi lunch (seems very popular with the local clientele).
Access to the coast or attractions further inland was easy.

Coming to Gemozac for work, I found this cosy, fully equiped room attached to the main house but with a private entrance. The lovely owner could not have been more welcoming. With secure under cover parking, I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Our room was large, clean, and comfortable and equipped with air-conditioning and a fantastic shower. The village is a lovely peaceful place to stay.
The manager, Pierre, is very good at his job and speaks excellent English. He and his team are all friendly and hard-working. The bar was frequented by locals, which is always a good sign. The food was very good, particularly the starters. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Le petit Radieux was a welcoming stop on our long journey from Spain to England, located in a quiet village we had a restful and relaxing evening. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the shower was superb! Our breakfast was brought to us in the morning which had everything we needed to set us up for the day and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. The best part for us and our dog was the beautiful garden which we could enjoy. Would highly recommend!
