The rooms were great, fairly new and everything worked, though we were surprised by the works taking place in the hotel. The pizza restaurant on the ground floor was closed (no information about it!) and the check-in was a bit wonky - we arrived at the check-in time and it was closed. We called the numbers provided, but couldn't get to speak with anyone and left messages. Sometime later, someone responsible for the check-in arrived, while we were in call with the Booking customer service to check what was going on. Having mosquito nets rather than using the air con by night would be great, however we appreciated the air con during the day.

Stunning house in a gorgeous rural location! Exceptional hosts!! Patricia and Peter are a delight to stay with! They made us an amazing 3 course dinner which was most welcome after a very long journey! Breakfast was delicious too! They are so welcoming and easy to be around! Hopefully see them again soon! X
