I recommend calling the owner fifteen minutes before coming to ask her about the direction - GPS gets it wrong and you have to use the way around. Once you get there, you'll know. It's super-safe and really desolate, there's a place for your car and everything. The house is really small but is enough for 2-4 people. Keep in mind that people with movement difficulty (who have problem with legs, back or are obese etc) might not get upstairs as the stairs are pretty steep and hard to reach. The owner is really nice and helpful. There's also a dog on the premise which I personally liked but a girl in our group was scared of. You can get to Lisieux in 10 minutes. Taking in account the relation price-quality, I totally recommend.

The house looked quite old, with plenty of history and the owner had made an effort to furnish it with lots of appropriate pieces of furniture and pictures to maintain the character of the place. At the same time the facilities were modern - and worked! Barbara answered any questions promptly and was very helpful. The location was ideal for exploring Normandy.
