Absolutely everything., the room was lovely, bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast is the best I’ve had anywhere, Isabelle is an amazing hostess.
The restaurant along the river offers delicious food and wine and the duck is a speciality.
The old mill that is still operating was really interesting to watch and learn about and the nut oils they make there are divine, along with the duck products as well.
We had a room with a balcony and only wished there had been more days available to stay longer.
To all the aussies out there reading this review, do yourself a favour and stay here.

Breakfast very good. Location, nice not so east to get to on bike. Good they told us to get food beforehand.
Beautiful spacious cottage. Perfect for a little retreat to hike around the area or to visit the medieval villages of Bourgogne. Dogs loved the enclosed garden. It was incredibly peaceful for New Year.
Charming village, helpful and friendly staff. The owners have big projects for the hotel adding musical events to the delicious cuisine they already serve. They have a real passion for their trade and are making the Grand Monarque into what promises to be a landmark spot to hang out in the area.
