Easy to find. Our hosts were excellent, very helpful. Bed was comfortable. Heating was good, it was a cold night. Breakfast was superb. The fresh flowers in the bedroom was a lovely touch

Excellent! We were made exceptionally welcome by Michelle and Serge and the stay was fantastic for us. Not far from the motorway, with an amazing view, the house is stunning. Everything is thought of for a perfect stay. Comfortable bed, good lighting, little thoughtful gestures in the room. Modern and sleek bathroom, big shower and everything to hand. The icing on the cake was eating a wonderful, copious breakfast with the doors open and the sun shining in from the terrace overlooking the valley. We had a lovely stay and would thoroughly recommend. As for the 'difficult' parking mentioned in earlier reviews, if you drive along past the house there's a parking bay on your left, avoiding any difficulty.

Very nice chambre d'hote, with lovely hosts and great breakfast. We stopped en route from Calais to Andorra, to break up the journey, but Travassac village and nearby Donzenac town were very interesting, so we would visit again for longer
The hosts were very welcoming. They are immensely proud of their heritage with local products featuring in the meals. The prearranged evening meal was substantial, tasty and great value. The location just off the motorway is ideal. The renovation of the village house is impeccable
Lovely room and balcony and central position in the village. Host told us about the restaurants open and that we needed to book, which we did and were glad we did as all tables outside full.
Having a kettle in the room was welcoming as we could enjoy a cup of tea. Mini fridge big enough to store milk.

We liked…the location, not far from the A20, in a really attractive, quiet and historic village. The house is decorated and equipped to a high standard and everything was good quality. Lovely bedding, nice toiletries. Real clothes hangers! Air-con and a beautiful view.
We had the evening meal offered and it was excellent, as was the breakfast. All spotlessly clean, too. Hosts are very friendly. There is a public car park just behind the house, two minutes walk. We left our car there rather than try to squeeze in by the front door.
The breakfast was very good and consisted of homemade preserves and yogurt from the proprietor.
The hotel is central for wandering around the sites of the village.
Very quiet place, though only minutes from the motorway. Extremely gentle and friendly hosts. The referred us to a good restaurant and booked for us, there. Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. We'd love to come back for a stay. btw, the medieval village of Donzenac surely is a visit worth!
