We arrived at Chateau de Seguin and were told we would not be able to make use of the pool as the pool was booked by a private group staying at the castle and moreover there was a group of italian tourists, so we were offered to stay at their sister property. A lovely man organised everything for us and we had the very best time at this other property.

Jean Marcs’ breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choices in a nice dining area. The setting is lovely and you can walk through the vineyard. There is an aura of staying in an old vineyard. The accommodation in renovated outbuildings is very smart, clean,large and comfortable. The use of the spa and sauna was an added treat.

The owners were super accommodating- they collected/dropped us to the station and lent us bikes. The garden was lovely to have breakfast in too.

In a peaceful setting, simple accommodation but perfect for us. We were able to visit all the areas in the wine region easily from here, and also relax in our little house. Everything was clean and well kept, the pool area was lovely and whilst there were other people sharing this space it felt private too. Our dog came with us, he is well behaved, and there was no problems with this. The donkeys were a delight and we were surrounded by apple trees so lovely in September.

Beautiful chateau. Exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. Christine and Laurent could not be more welcoming and keen to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfast Christine provided was so generous and delicious. We made good use of the lovely pool. The bedroom was very comfortable and as we were the only guests we had exclusive use of the bathroom and living room.
We had a car and so could easily access St Emillion and other local sites and scenery.
