Our stay was in a 'Scandinavian Pod' in the garden, this was a new experience for us. But, all in all it was nice. It had all facilities we were looking for and above all, it was nice and quiet.
A special mention of the staff, they were really friendly and helpful. Service with a great smile!

The hosts could not have done more to make us feel welcome and made sure we wanted for nothing. Especially enjoyable was the huge breakfast in the garden. They also found safe parking for our motorbike.

The property was modern, clean, and in a great location. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were decorated with a champagne theme which looked lovely. The bathroom facilities were great and the jacuzzi bath tub was exactly what we needed after a long journey!
The owner was very helpful and responsive during our stay, and left clear instructions for everything both in the property and sent via a message in advance.

Great breakfast, very comfortable bed, lovely staff and great pool
Set in a small village and very peaceful. Easy access to walks either beside the River Marne or in the vineyards, with an excellent restaurant just the other side of the river. Loved it all so much we had to come back for another visit!
The breakfast was generous and delicious! We ate around 9am and it was plenty enough to keep us going until supper time around 6pm. The room itself (the Marguerite suite) was huge! Bedroom, new bathroom, and an extra living room.
The property was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect, a 5 minute drive from Epernay, and 30 minutes from Reims. Cumières is a beautiful peaceful village nestled in the hills surrounded by vineyards.

Amazing small old village in Champagne region, not far away from Epernay (if you have a car). Free parking, boulangerie not far away and a lot of wineries around. Well equipped for kids. Nice kitchen with all you need to enjoy some food you bought during the say and have breakfast in the appartment.

this is a beautiful little champagne house in the village of Cumieres, a short taxi ride from Epernay. The rooms were lovely, and well appointed, even with tea and coffee facilities which we’ve found unusual in France. We were looked after very well by the team- with a glass of the delicious champagne on our arrival, despite being later than we’d planned and an ample cheese and meat breakfast with great coffee.
The Tranquility of the Chateau far exceeded expectation and the friendliness of the staff and owners and with a special mention to Gwendolyn for making us feel so welcome. The village of Cumieres is also well located with easy access to surrounding villages and Reims.
