We loved this accommodation! The host was friendly and showed us around. The accommodation is a lovely French house with everything you may need. It has 2 comfortable double beds, gorgeous linen on the bed, lots of pillows and everything was pristine. The host thought of so many extra little things like shampoo and other toiletries, dishwasher tablets, lots of fluffy towels and dishcloths, bottled water in the fridge, tea and coffee, fresh flowers in the house - the list goes on! It's in a lovely quiet area with secure parking behind an electric gate. So worth a visit!

A beautiful, cozy, luxurious 2 bedrooms cottage with excellent taste of decoration. 10+++++ Everything was well put together and thought through for the travellers/visitors. A wonderful place to rest and enjoy... The property itself should be a must visit/stay if you are in the area, not just for a stopover destination. Lots of pictures.... The stay at Battery Valley Farm was excellent. It was a unique experience for us. It is an active farm located not far from the town of Albert. The place offers cozy and pleasant rooms and a breakfast that includes farm-fresh ingredients. We arrived with only one day to visit the monuments and museums dedicated to the Battle of the Somme and were quite confused about how to plan our day. We received a lot of help from Mireille, the owner, who is a great expert in tourism in the area. Mireille presented us with the available options and helped us organize our visit.
