I loved staying at La Josephine. The location is exceptional - close to the train station and the city center. Marit et Herve treated me like an old friend. Since I was traveling alone, I especially appreciated this. The breakfast was very good - and so typically French, which I loved! Her coffee was excellent!

If you are looking for timeless charm and rural solitude this family run chateau is perfect. It's convenient for Sancerre and has good motorway access. Stepping back to a bygone time was really quite magical. An experience that should be on everyone's 'to do' list.
