I loved the quiet location but easy walking distance to all of the old city of Beaune
Clean, tidy, charming. In a lovely quiet traditional small village. Host was excellent. Food (menu de jour) was great. And wine recommendations (local champagne and a red) were perfect. Sadly we had to leave early so didn’t get to sample breakfast.
We were given a gite for our (one night) stay - very attractive conversion, very well equipped and comfortable, spotlessly clean in a quaint Burgundy village. As we were there on a weekday at a quiet time, the restaurant wasn't open but we were cooked a lovely home cooked meal (the griottes steeped in alcohol were superb) which was served in our accommodation. The owner was very welcoming and we would thoroughly recommend L'Aubergiste to one and all and hope to come back .
