Lovely renovated cottage in country setting with exposed beams, stone walls, wooden staircase and stable door. It maintains the atmosphere of an old building but has modern and comfortable kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable beds, plenty of storage. We had dinner there one evening, it was great and good value for money. Location about 20 mins drive from Carcassonne and 10 mins from stunning Cabrespine caves. You do need a car. Alex suggested a one-day driving tour route which we enjoyed. Owners charming and helpful.

Nothing as we arrived and left. Didn't stay for the three nights we reserved. We arrived at the property. The place itself we would say "Ok", tiny, painted and re-decorated to give a modern vibe but not taken care of (dirty marks on drawers, many mosquitoes inside of the place).

Othman gave us an extremely warm welcome with lots of info about the property and tips on visiting the medieval cité of Carcassonne, including a map. The apartment was very clean and, though not my taste in decor, was well presented with lots of extras like cooking ingredients and breakfast items available. Secure parking was great.
