What amazing hospitality. From the delightful crystal decanter of Sherry waiting us for us in the room when we arrived, to the geniality of the hosts. Super rural spot close to Montignac-Lascaux. Montignac is well worth an explorer as is of course a visit to Lascaux cave paintings. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy. Breakfast was plentiful.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hosts had left wine and some snacks - which was a nice touch. There was a seating area just outside of the apartment as well as a larger area (with an above ground pool and lots of seating areas) within the garden for use for the guests. Secure parking within the property.
The bed was comfortable and the linen was good quality.

We had a wonderful stay at Cabane Rouge-Gorge - everything was perfect. The treehouse lodge was located in the middle of woods, surrounded by lots of trees, it was so peaceful and quiet. We were met by our host who showed us to the location and around the accommodation once we arrived. The lodge itself was so comfy and cosy and provided everything we needed. The outside space was great, especially the wood fired hot tub was the highlight for us both. Each morning we received a lovely breakfast that was dropped off in a beautiful basket - the yogurts (which I think were homemade) were delicious. It was a perfect stay and I'd highly recommend - we didn't want to leave.

Fabulous room in a luxuriously appointed and sympathetically decorated Grand Maison. Heated swimming pool and spa and views from our balcony made relaxation easy . The hosts organised a very generous picnic too. Totally stunning property well worth the price.
Host was very friendly and there to meet us on arrival. Villa was traditional and comfortable with lovely pool and located in a quiet area. Lots of nice places to visit within a 50 minute drive.
Exceptional location, both the expansive grounds and the village they are in. Exceptional staff, namely Mme Roux who restored this incredible, historic building and has been running the establishment for about 3 decades. So friendly and attentive. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Beautiful swimming pool, beautiful gardens. Excellent value.
The property is amazing, beautifully located in the area, also make sure you have a visit to the small village of Condat-sur-Vezere.
The surrounding grounds are great, lots of space and a big pool.
