The breakfast was delicious with freshly baked baguettes and croissants brought by the host from a local bakery and home made organic jams. We could sit on the veranda and enjoy the tranquility of the garden. The host was very attentive to our needs with an ability to make you feel at home. The location was great - very close to Collonges la rouge and other beautiful villages. The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

Bernadette was very welcoming and made sure we could communicate fully. Bernadette gave us suggestions for possible restaurants in the area. We had a very good night's rest and breakfast, with homemade conserves and ham.

We stayed in the self contained apartment which was very comfortable, everything you need . We were to only couple there. It’s very quiet , we would visit some villages in the morning and relax by the pool in the afternoon. If you didn’t have self catering you would have to travel by car to town to a restaurant, 5 minutes away.

Everything was quietly elegant about Le Relais St Jacques - rooms, bar, dining room and garden.
Delightful place to stay, especially for the chance to wander the beautiful, deserted village at night.
Gracious hostess made us coffee in the morning as we left before breakfast was served.
Excellent evening meal.
Very picturesque village in the heart of France, well worth a detour. Be ready for a very steep and narrow street to access the hotel. The breakfast room is very nice and so was breakfast. I didn't have the opportunity to try the hotel's table d'hôtes but the hotel made an excellent recommendation for dinner nearby (Le Maraicher restaurant).
Really great place for a stay over in this beautiful village and you do need to see it at night with the lights.
Very friendly personnel and a good size room with a great breakfast!
Our only regret... we didn't have a chance to eat dinner as it was their day off... would better plan next time!
