Chedigny is a very pretty little rural village, perfectly placed to explore the eastern end of the Loire Valley. Our gite was charming and very well equipped for everything needed for self-catering. Rooms were spacious and the property was spotlessly clean. Communication with our host was good even though we never met her. The gite is very close to a wonderful restaurant if you stay when it is open. The property is quiet and private. We highly recommend the property if you like to stay in a lovely, small rural village.

The property is exquisitely furnished and has interesting artefacts in every room. Exceptional hospitality from the host who made us feel like royalty, he couldn’t have been more attentive to ensure our stay was memorable. Breakfast was fulsome and tasty, served each day on different and beautiful crockery, with a variety of homemade dishes. The bedroom and en suite bathroom were huge and very comfortable; again, tastefully designed and furnished.
Ideally situated close to the centre of the town and historical buildings, we highly recommend this property.

Large property, very airy, very spacious, very bright in a beautiful extensive garden front and back. Surrounded by fields of sunflowers. It is extremely well equipped, the kitchen has everything one needs and more. The wifi worked perfectly. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. I loved the space around the propery and also its character.

Delightful situation, a 'gypsy' type caravan in the beautiful garden of an elegant town house.
Excellent breakfast
Location was beautiful - overlooking a garden in a village decked out with roses rose roses and more roses in bloom. Breakfast was on a sunny terrace and served with delicious pastries and locally sourced yogurts and confiture. We especially appreciated that the host took time to chat to us and was so personable.
A lovely boutique hotel in a stunning village. The food is amazing, prepared with great care and attention by an incredibly dedicated couple who are great hosts.
Everything. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was simple but comfortable with an excellent bed. The meal in the restaurant was delicious. Clos de Roses is in the middle of a beautiful village. The walks nearby were lovely. We hope to return.
We had a spacious, airy room with decent sized bathroom and separate WC. The village location is stunning, as is the food in the restaurant, albeit that the menu choice is limited. The owners are fantastic hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. We will return !
The meal in the restaurant was the best meal we had in France in two and a half weeks. It was Michelin star standard with amazing attention to detail. We loved all the flower petals decorating the food.
