Tucked away on quiet streets of Le Lonzac, Les Jardins Saint-Eloi is such a great choice when looking for THE best maison d'hôtes in this area (between Corrèze and Dordogne, at the door of the Perigord).
The property is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. It is stunning, immaculately furnished to a high standard. As you step through the doors, you’re greeted by a lush oasis of tranquility that immediately washes away the stresses of everyday life.
From here, we explored the surrounding areas. Hubert gave us inside knowledge on the best places to visit. And did we mention that the breakfast with Hubert's homemade confiture was spectacular..??!! Hubert and Fatih made us feel exceptionally welcome and at home. We felt like VIPs!
The inviting ambiance and charming atmosphere make it the perfect retreat for travelers seeking relaxation. If peace, beautiful surroundings and exceptional hospitality are what you seek, do not look any further and make sure to look up Les Jardins Saint-Eloi. It is a special place with lovely hosts that made our trip unforgettable and absolutely what was needed after a hot, exciting and tiring week at the Olympic Games in Paris (2024).

The place was lovely and they couldn’t have been more helpful, room was bright and airy and the communal area warm with a wood burner in the evening. Breakfast was perfect bread, with lots of meats and cheese. Cereal and yogurt as well but only had the yogurt, coffee machine so it was on tap and you could drink as much as you liked. They even had a fridge with beer in and you wrote down what you had.

We just had 1 overnight stay while traveling through France, perfect for overnight stay. Good location, easy (paid) street parking. Comfortable bed. Well equipped (knives, cups, glasses etc), and very welcoming with coffee and tea's!
Nice rural & typically French little hotel in a pretty village. Handy that they have a (un-heated) swimming pool to cool off. The in house restaurant served some lovely food & wines & the staff were all very helpful. I also had a car full of things from our recent Villa sale so wanted to stay somewhere more secure. The parking at the hotel was good and the area seemed safe which was good.
