The flat was extremely clean and comfortable in a peaceful village. On our host’s recommendation, we stopped at Langres for dinner as the village has no restaurants or shops. Langres is well worth a stop and a walk around the ramparts. The host, Samuel, is very responsive and communicates well. An unexpected boon was the well stocked kitchen and welcome pack.

What an amazing house this is. The description doesn’t really do it justice- it’s large, with a huge amount of character features. A beautiful galleried landing, and a huge living dining area. Upstairs there is a snug lounge and a good pool table, a table football table and a really good old music separates system with a good record collection. We had a great time using it all. The beds are comfortable and the rooms of good size. There is a restaurant bar a kilometre or so away that does amazing takeaway pizzas at a great price. It’s next to a bakery that does what French bakeries do best.

Lovely host and you’ll struggle to find a cleaner place to stay, it’s spotless. Croissants at the local Boulangerie were fabulous.

Hosts very a accommodating despite my French being limited. Cosy cottage, cute French town and breakfast was just right for us (pastries, yoghurt and juice). Safe overnight parking and just the stop we needed after driving from Lille on the way to the South.

Beautiful chateau with enchanting woods! Great terrace to sit on and enjoy the view and listen to the surrounding sounds. Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. We will definitely come back. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.
