Location was ideal for where we needed to be. Parking was just outside of property. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Accommodation was in a rural area and was exceptional, very roomy, clean, comfortable and tidy. Breakfast was served outside as we requested but could have been in our room. Breakfast was great, plenty of selection and filling.

Beautifully renovated buildings set in a forest. Our room was quiet and clean with a fantastically comfortable wide bed. The shutters on the inside of the windows meant the room was dark. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided an enormous amount of information about things to do and see in the surrounding area. The pool was much appreciated at the end of a hot day. Breakfast was varied, home made and delicious. Many thanks and we'll be back

A beautiful property, superbly decorated with well appointed large rooms in a lovely village. Matthew is a most welcoming host, outstanding chef and was very accommodating our guests and dog.
The breakfast is excellent, home made greek yoghurt ,granola and fruit compote.With croissants, bread and jams, plus fresh fruits and cake. Chaillac is an excellent location for exploring many beautiful villages. Our dog was made very welcome.
Beautiful and very comfortable room. The whole property is just beautiful! Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Lovely breakfasts with good choices. Fantastic meals were provided by request in the evening, which were delicious! English spoken. Lovely old village to wander around and a good bar in the village for evening drinks. We stayed here twice on our journeys to and from the south of France and it made a perfect halfway overnighter.

This was our third stay here. Jo is a very welcoming host, and nothing is too much trouble. Extremely welcoming and decor is very tasteful. Book the evening meal. we love sitting overlooking the village square, listening to the church clock chime away the hours!! Don't tell anyone else... this is our secret.
Good dinner, table d'hote-style so no options but fresh ingredients cooked by a trained chef, with complementary white/red wine. Continental breakfast with fresh fruit. An old house with lots of charm. We stayed in the top-floor family suite (two double bedrooms plus bathroom at the top of the stairs). Village/small town setting (just off the main square) about 10-minutes' drive from A20 junction.
