Very old traditional French property. We were met by our host Didier and his grandson on arrival, and made to feel very welcome. Safe parking for our motorcycle. A very charming and welcoming family. The whole property is steeped in history and beautifully decorated in keeping with its past, artifacts and images everywhere! Very ckean and comfortable. Breakfast outstanding, all homemade and taken in the most amazing internal courtyard....a must for any visitor to Maison d'Almes.

The hotel was amazing: we stayed only for one night but would definitely come back to enjoy some more of the host’s kindness and hospitality. Caux is one of the nicest villages in the entire Occitaine region. There are at least two fantastic eating options and an excellent green grocer’s 2 minutes walk away and the beaches are within 20 minutes, as well as river and lake swimming spots even closer.
I will definitely be coming back with my family.
Amazing setting among the vineyards and across the courtyard from a monastery. Classic french style house with modern facilities. Very lovely hosts and an amazing breakfast on the Loggia. Peace and quiet. Close to villages.
