The site was beautiful. Wooded and mature gardens. Being there end of season only the swimming pool was open.
The accommodation was fairly good. Importantly, the beds were comfortable. We had brought our own bedding as the owner had said that none were provided. There were duvets and pillows. No tea towels either.
Luckily there was some heating as it did get quite chilly at night. We had some days when we could sit out and we appreciated the covered deck with furniture. A good clothes rack provided on deck to dry towels etc.
There was a good amount of crockery, cutlery and pans in the kitchen and 3 different coffee machines, a toaster and a kettle!
We had fun trying out the games like French Junior Scrabble which as two older ladies was about our level of French!
All in all the accomodation suited us. The best bit though was it's location. We had come to see the Menhirs and Alignments and the site was right next to the Kermario archeological site. We were able to walk to see the Menhirs!

From the bedrooms to the bathrooms to the kitchen and more, everything was set up beautifully and warm and welcoming. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. The host Cyril was friendly and super helpful. I had planned to stay for a few days but ended up staying for 10 days because I had such a wonderful time. I can highly recommend staying at this wonderful place.

The hotel was just outside the main village but walking distance from the bus stops that we used to visit most of the major sites, it was also walking distance from the mégalithes. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English which helped with our conversations. The room was of good size and clean. WiFi was excellent. Did not eat breakfast but it looked wonderful.
Nice little apartment wonderfully close to the seafront and sailing club. The apartment stayed cool even when it was very hot outside (we kept the upstairs windows and blinds closed during the day to keep the heat out). The terrace has a partial view of the sea, past a pretty garden and 1900s villa in front. Close to restaurants, cafes etc.
A small hotel hidden in the middle of the village - a plus for us, since it was v quiet. Any shops we might need, and a choice of places to eat, all within a short walk's distance. Well placed for the alignements and menhir/dolmen hunting with good walks, which was what we had come for. Excellent traditional breakfast, good coffee, excellent dinner.
Villa Menec had some good points - Good location, big house with lots of rooms and flexible set up with single / double beds. Well-equipped kitchen, lovely enclosed garden with plenty of chairs / tables.
Nice room with separate bathroom and toilet; views of village and sea (although latter at an angle); nice spa and swimming pool (partially outdoor); great parking facilities with possibilities to charge EVs; on walking distance from beach side center with restaurants and bars; close to seaside and beach.
The house is located in a lovely quiet village around 5 miles from Carnac sea front. We had an issue with the water being cold and Geraldine came round straight away to sort it, and she did.
Carnac has some lovely beaches and places to eat.
Staff was friendly and kind. Room was spacious, with balcony overlooking garden, village, and sea in distance. Very good breakfast. Excellent location for walking access to town and museums. Public parking across the street.

We thought it was the perfect seaside holiday house. The owner offers a very warm and welcoming house, you feel at home the minute you're entering. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were travelling with a dog and it was perfect, because it has a fence all around. Bakery, small shops and restaurants are in walking distance.
