Good location and really well appointed. Owners were really friendly and provided a lovely breakfast in the morning. Sauna and spa well worth it. Very clean. Decorated with real character touches. Pleasure staying here. Comfortable bed as well.

A great place to stay. Wonderful welcome, nothing too much trouble. Free and easy parking. Perfect, quiet location by a beautiful church & near a park. 5 minutes easy walk and you are in a lively square full of bars and restaurants of all types. We enjoyed it here for dinner and next day for afternoon drinks. Another 5 minutes you’re at the sea front. Our room was large, calm, comfortable, beautifully decorated and fitted out, the shower room too, spotless, as was the rest of the house. Lovely quality fittings and bed linen. Even the fan was first rate, as was the WiFi. It was up two flights of stairs, so may not suit those with limited mobility. I believe there are rooms on a lower floor. Great care taken with everything; we valued the booklet highlighting restaurants worthy of a visit. Breakfast was fantastic, I could write a whole paragraph just on that. So much choice and quality food. Pascal’s pancakes just wow and equally Virginie’s preserves. The best breakfast we’ve ever eaten in a French B and B. We didn’t eat again until evening. Great value stay. We usually just pass through Calais but wanted a more in-depth visit & very much enjoyed it. Great for long, flat walks. Le Clos des Mouettes will be our go to now when we stay in Calais. Class.

The pool was brilliant, the children spent hours in it. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There were plenty of soft towels. The location, although booking.com said beachfront and private beach this didn't seem to be the case. It didn't spoil our stay, the beach was a small walk away. Our host was very accommodating and helpful.

The flat was perfect and full of thoughtful extras.
Hotel was in an excellent location for shops and restaurants and Christmas village. Rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast was a good selection of continental and cooked although most of the bacon and sausages were very well done. Our room had a balcony. Small bar area was comfortable and felt festive decorated for Christmas
Everything! Our hosts (adults and cats) were charming, welcoming and made our stay memorable. A highlight of our visit was the extraordinary meal prepared by our hosts. The food was excellent and the wine flowed. Villa des Chats made our last night in France relaxing and pleasurable. We highly recommend Villa des Chats.
Lovely little village. River walks, restaurants within walking distance. Host were lovely. We were travelling through and needed a bed for the night. Room was big with lovely hot shower.
Great location - 10 mins drive to the tunnel - in a quiet area of Calais with a number of shops / restaurants close by. The rooms are very clean with good soundproofing and electric shutters.
These establishments are predominantly residential homes for the elderly, but do not let this deter you from staying here. The short term visitor facilities are superb. There is also an easy to access secure underground car park, with reserved parking for each apartment.
We stay in Calais regularly en route to our holiday home in France and have finally found a decent reasonably priced clean and tidy hotel, just five minutes walk from the centre of town but in a quiet neighborhood .We have booked again for our return journey
