The appartment is very modern and has everything you would need for a family syaying for a week or so, let alone a couple just stopping for the one night. Marc (the host) sent us clear instructions for finding the place and met us on our arrival and explained how and where various thigs were Ideal location, half way between relatives and home, a plesent nights stay, would highly reccomend.

Close to the GR5 / E2 long distance path in an area where there are few accommodation options I was really glad of Le Clos des Pommes. Lovely spacious room with all I needed and an excellent breakfast.

A very difficult property to rate. It is a working farm, great owner, very friendly, great breakfast but - it is a farm. Up on a hill. In the middle of nowhere.
If you are hiking and want to go out to dinner - forget it, the next food joint is 6 KM away, and that´s not a pleasant french bistro or brasserie but a cluster of junk food stores in an industrial area. Nevertheless it is lovely.
Furniture isn´t new, ok, it´s quite old, but not antique, ok, some is, but most is not - again difficult to rate. It´s clean but not as you would expect - again - difficcult to say, as it is a working and running fram.
Summarising, great location with a lovely owner and within perfect distance to Nancy, if you have car and like an authetic stay on a farm.
