Very friendly hosts and well appointed comfortable rooms in a lovely location near the River Lot. One reason we liked it was that there was a communal breakfast/dining room where we could use the hob and microwave to cook our own evening meal. Being able to meet other guests at breakfast and in the evening was a bonus that we missed in some of the other places where we stayed. Would definitely stay again.
Boasting a patio with city views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Les Jardins Sauvages can be found in Cabrerets, close to Pech Merle Cave and 48 km from Monkey Forest.

Very helpful owner who made sure our bikes were well cared for! A lovely room - cool and comfortable. Great breakfast and a very tasty salad/cheese/charcuterie dinner. Really close to Grotte de Pech-Merle. Also, a sweet dog and a friendly cat.

Lovely couple who were very helpful, dinner was excellent.
In the hot weather the pool was perfect an the room had a fan whih worked well for a good night's sleep. The area around the hotel was God's own country. So beautiful and we felt priveleged to have been told about it as a must see by others. The boat trip from the jetty showed us even more beauty along the river. Going up to St Cirque la poppie is an easy drive and provides an excellent view of the whole region and a pretty small village to enjoy.
Nice hotel in the nature, with possibility of eating next to the river.Near to the village-you can reach by foot or car through a breathtaking road.
