A Pasturella is brand new, spotlessly clean, stylish and all fitted out/decorated to a high standard. The host is welcoming and easy to communicate with.
The holiday house is just under 20 mins drive from Bastia airport - but the setting on the outskirts of a small village heading up into the mountains feels as if you're miles away. Very quiet, very green and the sound of bird song and the occasional church bell.

Set in the small village of Rutali, you are treated to peace and quiet as well as beautiful vistas of the Corsican mountains. The gardens are amazing with the smell of lavender in the air and the chime of the local church. The room we had was perfect for our needs. We went to a supermarket (15min drive) and cooked most evenings in the fully equipped kitchen but you can get breakfast and dinner each day for a fee which is delicious (try the shepherd’s platter). Claude is a lovely host. He showed us around and gave great recommendations of what to see in the local area. We liked that he was happy to chat or leave you to chill out depending on what you wanted. It’s helpful to brush up on your french phrases as not everyone speaks English. There is also a cute, friendly white cat that makes it’s home there. We will miss staying here. Thank you for a truly wonderful place for our honeymoon.
Everything in the villa was brand new, clean and perfectly adapted for a relaxing vacation. The living room and kitchen are spacious and light flooded the room. Using the automatic shutters, we were able to keep out the heath during the day, and even better, both living room and the bedrooms are equipped with airconditioning. The terras was lovely to sit, with cosy lights inviting for apéro, diner and late night card games. 10/10 would recommend when visiting the Northern part of Corsica.
