Our host was so lovely to speak with and keen to help in any way he could. Breakfast was beautifully presented with local produce and home made preserves. We received a very warm welcome. The apartment was comfortable, compact and tastefully decorated. The two single beds located upstairs in the loft were comfortable and cosy. The rooms were warm, clean and the kitchen had all necessary appliances and cutlery. The bathroom and shower area were good. Lots of information on the local area. Our host gave us a recommendation for evening food. The local area is very quiet and relaxing and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. We were in room apt 24. We were kindly given some water for our onward journey.

The visionary and charming proprio took the time when we arrived to explain the history of the house to us. Incredible to sleep in a room where people have been sleeping for 282 years! We loved this bucolic bubble which is being carefully and tastefully maintained and planted.
