As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a big smile by Olivier, our host. We were invited to participate in a very interesting presentation on the movement of the planets and their characteristics. Very interesting! The view of the moon and its structural details enriched our knowledge. The location of the house is excellent. The rooms are small, but very well organised. The pull out bed is very comfortable and feels exactly like a real bed. Each room has a private terrace.

It was quite spontaneously we went up to Lac de Sainte Croix, but we were pleasantly surpriced: Very cosy, small village, nice area. Very helpfull and welcoming staff, great breakfast. Close to restaurants and the lake (which is good for swimming). We really hope to come back, and will stay at Auberge du Lac again, if possible.
It is looked after with enormous care and devotion. Our rooms were delightful and totally unique. The staff are also lovely as are all the cats and dogs who are either resident or visiting. The hotel is right in the lake and even the village view rooms are fantastic with a view onto a beautiful and quiet street. And the food is wonderful!!!
As Mobile Home and camping sites go then this is a good one; obviously the seasonal nature means not all services are always available, and you must accept the reality of a camp site! Its not everyones getaway destination, but this site does happen to be in area of outstanding beauty. The Village...a drive away, the lake and local Gorges (for a great day out) are stunning.
