The location was perfect for our purpose to visit the WWII beaches of Normandy and visit some museums and the American cemetery and memorial. Stefan and his wife, Marie were very cordial and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful, with locally obtained fruits; peaches, apples, oranges and more. We were able to have fresh local eggs cooked to order as well as homemade apple juice, yogurt and jams. The jams for the croissants and crusty breads were amazing. We purchased two to bring back with us. Our king size bed was more comfortable than what we have at home and everything was clean and provided with a great deal of thought for decor and quality. Such a lovely place to return to after a long day of touring the area.

Beautiful place to stay, near all the WW2 museums and cemetery and memorial sites , close to lovely food store and bakery, safe area . We went to follow my dad’s footsteps as a young soldier and visited places he went through, this is a great place to stay to go out to restaurants and shops and Bayeux. Highly recommend, by the landing beaches . Do stay here so you have a beautiful building in amazing grounds.
