After making the booking, I then read the poor reviews and thought I’d made a big mistake. I couldn’t have been more wrong! This was an absolutely a lovely place to stay, the poor reviews are either deliberately vindictive, or have no idea what you should get from a very reasonably priced B&B! Yes there was a few minor maintenance issues and everything wasn’t brilliantly shiny, but it was clean and more than adequate for an overnight stay. The outdoor space was excellent, a badminton net, an outdoor swimming pool, a table tennis table, small children’s play area and all within a countryside, secure gated location. What more could you want for the price paid 🤷♂️

Good choice of items at Breakfast, spacious shower with plenty of hot water.
Booked for dinner but No choice offered or check to see if we have any allergies. Extensive wine list prices from 20 - 200 plus euros per bottle. We enjoyed the 3 course meal, cooked by Gregory who is a professional chef - with a bottle of wine the cost was 100 euros, given we had no choice of menu I felt the price point was a bit expensive.
If you want to stay in a charming and charactfull 18th century French Chateau with beautiful grounds box ticked, however I believe the owners could make this a truly fantastic place.
The property and grounds are stunning which is their USP, the room and facilities let it down. See my constructive comments.....

This hotel strikes the perfect balance of being calm and peaceful, yet very centrally-located. We loved the bright, beautifully-decorated rooms and friendly owners. It's only a few minutes' walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The hotel feels like a breath of fresh air, especially with the sounds of Dieppe's seagulls from outside.

The hostess kindly rang a local restaurant to book a table for us as we arrived a little later than planned. Beautiful location - sorry that we didn’t have time to explore the gardens. Great rooms and super breakfast. Ideal for overnight stay as close to motorway.
The breakfast was delicious, most of it was homemade and incredibly good.
The room we had was to a high standard and comfortable , set in a beautiful garden in a pretty little hamlet. We would have loved to have walked around the village but unfortunatelt it was raining the afternoon we arrived.
It was also so easy to travel on to Dieppe ferry. Excellant value for money.
We found Corinne very hospitable, friendly, welcoming and informative.
