This was one of the best places we have stayed in France. The house we rented was comfortable, tastefully decorated, and balanced historic charm perfectly with modern amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms are not just modern, but upscale. The outdoor patio is lovely— both our comfortable seating area and a large eating area. We spent every evening on the patio. The common outdoor areas are also wonderful — the pool and the wooded areas surrounding the property. And the hosts could not be more kind, helpful, and lovely. We will definitely be back for another visit!

The photos do not do this beautiful house justice. It is a charming conversion of a medieval stable or workshop, spacious, airy and cool on hot days. It is furnished eclectically and comfortably. The location is wonderful, being on a little square very near the river. The pool and garden are cool and calm. The canoeing place, restaurants and shops are all a few minutes walk away. It took half an hour to walk to the Lascaux 4 cave and there are lots of beautiful towns, churches and museums within a half-hour drive. Parking is easy. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. My partner, myself and two grown-up sons had a lovely 2 weeks there.
