For us, the greatest thing about this place was the wonderful host - Claire-Anne. Not only did she agree to our late arrival from Newhaven, but she was such a lovely person. Interesting, caring and such a warm, likeable personality - we felt so welcome.
Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view over the large garden to the rear.
The area was safe and quiet and the off street parking a bonus as our car was fully loaded.

This hotel strikes the perfect balance of being calm and peaceful, yet very centrally-located. We loved the bright, beautifully-decorated rooms and friendly owners. The hostess Claire-Anne was great and made us a cuppa on arrival which was well received. The breakfast too was excellent. The shared bathroom (which we didn't have to share) was great. There is a fabulous restaurant just down the road called 'Le Henri Cat' but only go there if you love cats. It's a creperie with an experience. If you're going through Dieppe, this is the place to stay - it's just 9km from the ferry terminal, very quiet and on the edge of an interesting village.
the location near Dieppe was ideal for a late arrival on the ferry. Arques-la-Bataille was a very quaint village with the ruins of a magnificent castle on the hill, calming lakes and a friendly atmosphere.
The property was clean and comfortable with four bedrooms, which was of the reasons we chose it for our family of five. The patio area behind the house was private and we used it for meals after a visit to the boulangerie everyday.
The property was a small upstairs room accessible from the rear of the property, but perfect for a one night stay. The village is really lovely and has some remarkable buildings which are very old.
Host very friendly and helpful. Compact, comfortable, great shower. Good french breakfast, great jam. Very good value. Excellent for short stay, the village looked interesting too.
Set in a small village just 5k?outside Dieppe ideal for coming off the late ferry and easy access to the motorway for Rouen.
The bedroom was a Large family room with a Double Bed and a SIngle bed. exceptionally comfortable and spotless. Shower room and toilet just across the hallway, again exceptionally clean.
Breakfast was typical French bufffet, juice, coffee bread and preserves, Adeqate and filling.
Bruno the owner from St Tropez was attentive and chatty.
