I loved this accommodation. Everything was perfect, clean, spacious, play area outside, friendly hosts, and such a beautiful building. 5 star standards. We stayed 2 nights as a stop off while travelling, but we could have stayed so much longer as it's a gem. Also, they have a fabulous amenity across the road- a local winery where we tasted and bought wine.... then enjoyed it on the balcony :))

WOW!!! What an experience. To all us brits that come to France every year and end up staying in all those hotel chains, that is not France - it’s ANYWHERE. We enjoyed a night in the company of our host and hostess with a glass of wine as we arrived and enjoying their company throughout the evening The Manoir is still undergoing extensive restoration but ’Chambres’ that are restored will make you feel like a Viscount. Our hostess Isabelle, was as charming as the cottage itself and has thought of even the smaller details to make her guests comfortable. The courtyard and outdoor amenities were enjoyable, the kitchen was well supplied, the washer was a big plus. The parking beside the entrance and the gated security were appreciated. We would have stayed longer had it not been booked.

Didn't expect that we would literally live in someone's house, while the owner were still living in it. But it turned out better than expected. The owners are super friendly, social, but they give you enough privacy. Help you wherever they can (itinerary, advice on the area ect). They prepare a really good breakfast with whatever you like, just mention it. We asked for eggs and they were prepared for us. They have a heated pool in mint condition. It's very quiet, with lots of nature around. You get all the privacy you need and they are always open for a good talk. Bonus: if you like Karaoke, just ask Robert to sing along and you'll have a funny evening.

Really quiet, very comfy bed and shutters to block out the light so we slept really well. The kitchen was well equipped. It was very private with all the windows looking out onto our terrace. We also appreciated the electric car charging and the location just 15 minutes from the Loire.
