This is a lovely little cabin in the heart of nature!!
Has everything you need to unwind but still feels rustic. We played cards and ate meals on the patio, drank morning coffee on the balcony. Fell out of bed into the forest for walks. We actually fought over who got to sleep in the “barrel”!
There was a forest centre across the road and they were very nice and helpful in directions. Lac de Pierre percee nearby was an amazing day trip ❤️

Accommodation nice clean and facilities matching the description. The immediate surroundings correspond to the fact that it is run by a peculiar guy. Don't expect beautifully manicured flower beds and perfectly trimmed lawns. For me, the authentic country style of the surroundings suited me. Other accommodations may have perfectly beautiful surroundings, but I feel it comes at the cost of losing originality and feeling that the perfect beauty is artificial. Here I felt like I was staying somewhere where a human being lived and not a robot creating artificial reality for instagram. Even the kids thought it was the best accommodation ever. The kids especially appreciated the donkeys and goats that are in the area and the natural freedom that the surroundings offer. I was only sorry that I don't speak French to talk to the owner. My wife who speaks fluently said that the owner is an extremely kind and communicative man. I almost never go back abroad to the same places, but I suspect the Vosges will need my visit again and if it's with the kids we will stay here, the atmosphere of this place is just specific and suits the Vosges.
