The most peaceful place to stay. We loved every moment of our time here. Giles and Annie were both incredibly welcoming hosts and ensured we had a great time. The highlight has to be Giles' cooking. Having an evening meal cooked by an ex-restauranteur is unique at places like this we've stayed at. Breakfast was really good too, with eggs straight from the chicken coop and everything homemade. If you're in any doubt about where to book in Dordogne, stop - just stay here!

Their suggestions for places to see and eat were very good, as was the evening meal we had on our last night (you must request this with some notice so that it can be prepared). Each time we needed something, they answer fast and efficiently to our request. We selected La Foret Enchantee as a last minute trio and we were super happy. GORGEOUS location with an amazing view. Very quiet and peaceful. The house is very spacious, clean, and modern. Mabel is incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Great breakfasts. A nice kitchen for simple meals if you're tired of eating out. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.
