Susana and her husband did everything possible to take care of me. Copious laughter and good will made up for my inability to communicate in Spanish. They were an absolute delight 😊 and the hotel is a gem.

We really had 3 specials days in the middle of nature (the weather was very good which helped of course).
The host Daniel does not speak English but his helpfulness in combination with Google translate absolutely makes up for that, we really got good support for everything from restaurants over to visiting the area, which is very nice for hiking.
Very nice room and bathroom.
Breakfast is provided by the host the evening before based on what you ask per WhatsApp, so you can have breakfast on your private terrace when you want.
For dinner you can choose to go to restaurant 10 min walking or ask (through WhatsApp Daniel) your meal to be delivered, simple menu but correct.
There are shops in the neighborhood to buy wine etc.
Very quiet, back to nature, type of feeling.
Situated in El Torno in the Extremadura region, Apartamento rural Sé de un lugar features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

We liked the friendly hosts who came to rescue us when we got stuck on one of the narrow, steep hills, baked us delicious muffins and left us home grown delicious peaches. The yard with the fruit trees and outdoor space, and the house itself were very cosy and comfortable.

A most WONDERFUL surprise. We didn’t expect this to be quite so amazing so we ended up staying an extra night. Everything was exceptional- from the beautiful. traditional Mongolian Yurt, to the comfortable bed, lovely cotton sheets and towels, every place spotlessly clean. Jose & his lovely wife made us feel like we were their personal friends- gave us so much advice on what to do & where to eat locally. Breakfast was lovely & Leticia baked a beautiful cake for us. We ate our way around the property- cherries were in season & Jose filled a box of them on the morning we were leaving. We will definitely return.

Check in went smoothly through lock boxes, never saw any staff but communicated through WhatsApp that worked well. We had a room with an ensuite and shared a communal area with other guests. The communal area was a well stocked kitchen, large table and a sofa. Very rural feeling with only a pub that closes at 9pm I believe. Didn't see any other shops/services so come prepared.
This was a lovely place to stay. The owner or proprietor was very kind and nice and very helpful. The property is characterful and we had a peaceful night in a lovely bedroom that had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was good. The Casa is set in a charming and intriguing village full of character. The Casa is excellent value for money.
The property is very comfortable, spacious and quiet, hidden away in a small, rural village. my hosts were friendly and clearly concerned to make sure I enjoyed
my stay. with a mixture of Spanish, English and Portuguese we had a lively conversation.
