It is very modern with new furniture, fully fitted kitchen with everything you might need, bathroom with perfect water pressure, comfy beds, fast and reliable wifi and a very effective ventilation system that keeps the cueva dry and fresh. Unique experience in this glass designer house with exquisite views of the desert and snow capped Sierra Nevada. David was extremely helpful, welcoming us and showing us around with helpful tips. We enjoyed a lovely sunset and sunrise, comparable only to wild camping, but with all the luxury imaginable, including a bath in the middle of the desert.

The location was idyllic. We could not have expected a better stay. Truly, the pictures don't do it justice, it's really a dream-like location. The sunset and the sunrise on the desert and the mountains is straight out of a movie. Peacefull location for anyone looking for a true breather. José was the best host possible and we strongly recommend booking a private visit of the desert with him and Loulou <3

The cueva apartment was outstanding! Nestled in the hilltops within a small village of approximately 500, where everybody knows everyone and they are very friendly and helpful to tourists. The cave was well organized and very clean. A fantastic view awaits you! A super plus of staying here are the hosts. Mari and Mateo are very accommodating and easily accessible as they are on-site. Any problems or concerns that we encountered were quickly resolved if possible. Our only unresolved concern was the difficulty that a physically challenged guest faces. To get to the cave you have to traverse a series of inclined switchbacks. This problem should be mentioned in the Booking site with photos accompanying the description. However, overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it highly to other guests.

Cueva Alcazar was amazing, I could feel the care they put into the place, a lot in the details, such as the rocking chair which I just really enjoyed. There is all the kitchen equipment needed, the cave is comfortable, and Mateo and Marie were super sweet and welcoming and attentionate. I would have stayed more than one day here, and encourage everyone who seek a place in Gorafe to stay there. Also, the cueva was super clean and close to the little town centro; Gorafe is peaceful and quiet. Really I would live there. Thanks to Mateo and Marie for making this alojamiento accessible.

it was a great adventure! the location is fabulous and the route towards the house is a path with rocks. the foto’s are exactly how it is! but make sure that the app works; you need it for everything. the bed was great, the shower fantastic and the kitchen well equipped. If I may make a remark: make it possible to dimm the light . We are so happy that we have stayed here!
