We loved Casita Etherose, the views are simply stunning and the casita is very comfortable and had everything we needed, beds were comfy and the hosts were on hand if we needed anything (which we didn't, everything went so smoothly) but also gave us privacy. Debbie and Mark are the best hosts you could hope for, they were so welcoming and we really appreciated the advice they were able to give to us (we plan to move here this year). We didn't use the pool as we came in winter (we were welcomed with a roaring fire) but the pool and BBQ area is really lovely and we are looking forward to using it in the summer when we will be back, the views around the house are out of this world and the night sky is something to behold. In terms of location, we loved the fact that you are in the country and it is peaceful and very quiet but also just over two miles from an autovia. The casita was easy to find and in a great location for getting around, we went to Almeria, Alicante, Aguilas, Huercal Overa, Velez Rubio, Velez Blanco, Albox, Cabo de Gato, San Jose and all were easy to get to.

Casa Paco is a stunning boutique B&B … the lovely owners Laureen and Mendo have thought of every detail to make for an amazing stay they go out of their way to make guests feel happy, comfortable and at home - everything is newly done and so stylish ! the beds are huge and super comfy and the bathrooms are gorgeous - massive showering area and great water pressure …..! all fixtures and fittings are top quality and it shows! A lot of careful thought has gone into the decor resulting in a serene ambiance with stunning views and a lovely pool to cool off in. The inclusive breakfast is beautifully laid out and served and the prices at the honesty bar are very reasonable and meant we didn’t have to worry about going to supermarkets to buy drinks. The location is only 5 minutes from Vélez-Rubio but still feels rustic and secluded Wr have already re booked for October!
