The stunning scenery of the Picos, the nearby river walk and the attractiveness of Verdiago itself with it's stone and ochre buildings and terracotta rooves.
Lecre was very helpful and cooked us an excellent local style dinner each night. The restaurant is not cheap, but it's traditional rural Spanish fare and a unique experience and food has to be brought a long way .We enjoyed meeting other guests in the very pleasant dining room.
The accommodation was comfortable, warm
and attractively furnished. The shower was good. The washing machine didn't work but Lecre kindly did our washing.
We had a pleasant sitting out are with views of the village. It is a memorable place for a short stay.

Verdiago Vive has a hotel, restaurant, bar and rental houses in Verdiago. Despite being rather remote, the service is excellent.
We stayed on one of their rental houses and had dinner on their restaurant. Everything was perfect. The house (built in late 2022) was extremely nice, and the food of their restaurant was another level. Some of the best food we had on the region.
Very much recommended.
