A gorgeous little village only 5 minutes away from a town that has everything you need..cafes shopping etc. and only 2 .5 hours from Barcelona. Anna our hostess is charming and took great care to see we had all we needed. Our room was a great size and the bed was comfy. The view over to the mountains was stunning. Anna took great care of us and we would recommend Cal Mateu to anyone ...we loved it!!
Anna was very very kind to us. We didnt have a car and she offered tAking us to the nearest city. On the way, she she taught us all about the villages nearby, almost like a tour guide!
The place was really clean and cosy.
We arrived by train, the stop is called Urlx-Alp. Very easy to get from Barcelona. And then we only walked 20 min straight and we were there!
We really recommend Cal Mateu :)
